Memories from Days of Yore...

These are from back when I broke boards rather than boards breaking me...

My first real-deal wave sailing sesh. Man, that feels like a really long time ago... I guess it wasn't so long ago.

The Hughster with his broken board.

Josh and his broken Fanatic. I can still remember crouching down in the sand for that pic, then running to grab my Mistral Screamer and head back out.

Somebody ended up giving me $50 for this board because they loved the design on it so much.

Looking back, so did I!! Anybody got one of these they wanna part with? It would look great on my wall.

Hey Josh, it's Don in Tampa. Thought I'd send you a video clip from what you missed on the east coast today. Here's a hint: it involves, kiters, wind, and pain!

yeah, that is all over the news!

That's why we windsurf in that kinda wind, not kite!

Guys like that give kiting a bad rep, he never even went for his safety release, shit he didn't even drop the bar!! The first rule of kiteboarding is practice what to do when shit goes wrong. Major factor to kiting a hurricane is using the smallest kite possible(5m-3m or less), and ride a down-winder. This doof was going to ride too much kite with onshore winds..just my opinion...hope he recovers..Oh and your broken board pic is only trumped by the one of you catching sick air in some other country, I've got it around here somewhere.. check my blog, some funny pics of a mutual friend, be easy brother brother...
